Nomster Chef Launches Subscription Website With Step-by-Step Illustrated Recipes for Kids

Kid-friendly educational startup helps kids learn how to cook with their families so they can develop healthy eating habits together.

Nomster Chef is launching their subscription website on July 16, 2018, with the goal of promoting children’s healthy eating habits through cooking. Nomster Chef’s offerings include kid-friendly step-by-step digital illustrated recipes in the Nomster Recipe Library. These recipes are hosted by the friendly Nate Nomster character and are designed to help kids feel like expert chefs. The recipes also help kids age 2-12 learn about culinary skills, nutrition, and food science as well as academic skills like reading, math and social studies. Gift sets including Nomster Chef aprons and kids’ cooking tools are being launched on the company’s website as well.

The educational startup is on a mission to raise a healthier generation of kids and parents by helping families cook together. Nomster Chef was designed with two facts in mind: kids are more likely to eat food that they have helped to cook, and people form their lifelong eating habits in early childhood. If kids learn to cook, they are more likely to try and like healthy food.

“I am thrilled to share the Nomster Chef experience with more families,” said Founder and CEO Ashley Moulton. “Our parent recipe testers say that cooking with Nomster Chef encourages quality family bonding time and healthy eating, and kid testers think it’s fun to cook with Nate Nomster. I hope that Nomster Chef teaches young chefs how to love healthy food!”
