Grown-up Pro Tips
This hot cocoa recipe could be a great way to introduce beginner kid chefs to working on the stovetop (with a grown-up of course!). Watch our video “How to use the stovetop safely with your child” to learn how to know when your kid chef is ready to use the stove and how to introduce it safely. (And we still recommend that the grown-up pour the heated cocoa into mugs!)
Want to make cocoa for more than 2 people? This recipe makes a fun math exercise! Help your kid chef figure out how to add 1, 2, or more servings to the quantities listed in the recipe.
