Ingredient notes

  • Nutritional Yeast

    • Unfamiliar with nutritional yeast? This article should help explain what it is! It’s not the same yeast you use to bake with.

    • Look for nutritional yeast in the spices aisle or the health food aisle of the grocery store.

    • If you can’t find nutritional yeast at your grocery store, skip it, the recipe will still work. But it adds an awesome cheesy taste (while being completely dairy-free).

Grown-up Pro Tips

  • Eat the kale chips promptly, the chips will become soggy if you wait more than 3-4 days to eat them (but trust us, this won’t be difficult!). Also if you store them in containers, let them cool completely before sealing (so there’s no condensation in there). That will prolong their shelf life.
